Kasia & Kamil's Post-Wedding Session | October 2024

Spotkaliśmy się nad Wisłą, ponieważ lubią wspólnie przesiadywać nad jej brzegiem, aby podziwiać panoramę miasta z tej perspektywy.
Kasia and Kamil are from Silesia, so naturally they organised their wedding and reception in their home region. However, the start of their married life coincided with a period when they were living together in the capital of Poland. So, to honour this stage of their lives, they wanted to mark it with an urban wedding photo shoot on the bustling streets of Warsaw.

It was a chilly, cloudy October, so Kasia, worried by the gloomy forecast, took a jacket with her. However, just like on their wedding day, the weather suddenly and unexpectedly improved, and the sun came out in all its glory. So, making the most of the opportunity, we bathed in the sunshine for a while.

We continued our walk towards the Old Town, pausing for a moment by the majestic Markiewicz Viaduct. Husband’s help is invaluable when the train of my dress is causing problems.

Kamil is a fan of classic cars, so we couldn’t just walk past such a beautiful specimen without stopping. The couple’s sense of humour led to a spontaneous little scene.

When thirst hits, how nice that you can find something refreshing on every corner.

It was time for a change of location, so we moved our "love story" to the Warsaw Underground to quickly reach the next spot on our session's map.

We made our way through the busy, bustling streets of the city centre to reach the final stop on our photo session. The location may be obvious and clichéd, or perhaps controversial due to the place’s dubious historical reputation... Nevertheless, like it or not, it has become the most recognisable symbol of Warsaw. That is why our Warsaw wedding photo shoot came to an end in front of... the Palace of Culture and Science.

After the session, the couple kindly invited me up for a cup of coffee. It was a chilly October after all...
Dear Kasia & Kamil, thank you for your story.
